O'Fallon is one of the largest cities in Missouri and almost all of it went up after 1990. Drive Highway K, Highway N or Bryan Road and you pass subdivision after subdivision of two-story colonials, ranches and villas built between the mid-nineties and last year. Most of them came with the same starting package: builder-grade carpet through the great room, a strip of vinyl in the kitchen, and oak treads on the stairs. Twenty-odd years later that carpet is done, and replacing it is most of what we do here.
Veteran Flooring is veteran-owned, founded in April 2015, and run by Dale Wyatt. Our showroom sits at 149 Weldon Pkwy in Maryland Heights, roughly twenty-five minutes east of O'Fallon on I-70 or the Page extension, so it is an easy trip out for sample racks and a real look at Hallmark Floors, Portercraft and Fusion displays. If the drive does not fit your week, Erik brings samples to the house, measures, and puts a written number in your hands before anyone commits to anything.
The work here has its own quirks. St. Charles County houses sit on OSB subfloor over engineered I-joists, which run long and flex more than the old sawn lumber in city homes, and that changes how tile and wide-plank goods get prepped. Open floor plans mean floors run forty feet without a doorway to break them, so expansion gaps and layout have to be planned, not improvised. Missouri weather does the rest, with muggy July dew points and dry January furnace air pulling wood in both directions every year.

Solid and engineered oak for great rooms, dining rooms and two-story foyers, matched to the builder's existing stair treads and railings so the first floor reads as one continuous floor instead of a patchwork.

Luxury vinyl plank in O'Fallon, MO
Waterproof plank for finished and walkout basements, kitchens and mudrooms. It handles dogs, kids and the occasional sump backup better than anything else we install in St. Charles County.

Tile flooring in O'Fallon, MO
Porcelain and stone for entries, garage-side mudrooms and master baths, set over proper deflection control so a long joist span in a newer O'Fallon build does not crack your grout.

Laminate flooring in O'Fallon, MO
A hard-wearing, budget-friendly answer for busy family houses and rentals off Mexico Road, using water-resistant cores and wear ratings built for high traffic rather than the thin stuff big boxes stock.

WingHaven
Late-nineties and 2000s golf-community homes with high ceilings and open sight lines. Wide-plank engineered hardwood and large-format tile suit these floor plans, and we plan layout off the longest run through the great room.
Twin Chimneys
Two-story family homes built around the golf course. Original carpet is usually the first thing to go, and we see a lot of hardwood on the main level with carpet kept upstairs in the bedrooms.
Sandfort Farm
Newer construction with long open runs and finished lower levels. Waterproof luxury vinyl plank is the standard basement answer, and it keeps the color story consistent with the main floor.
Fox Run
Nineties builds near Highway K where the builder-grade vinyl in kitchens and baths has aged out. Tile and LVP both work here, and prep usually means flattening OSB and killing a few squeaks.
Old Town O'Fallon
Older houses near Main Street predate the subdivisions by decades, and some still have original oak strip flooring under carpet. Where the boards are sound, sanding and refinishing beats replacing them.

We are out in St. Charles County most weeks. O'Fallon is about twenty-five minutes from our Maryland Heights showroom on I-70 or the Page extension, and it is one of our busiest service areas. Erik schedules the free in-home measure, brings samples so you can see them in your own light, and you get a written quote with no trip charge and no obligation.
Usually, yes. Houses built here since the mid-nineties sit on OSB sheathing over engineered I-joists, and the squeaks come from panels moving against fasteners. Once the old carpet is out we can screw the subfloor down, add fasteners at the joists, and flatten any high or low spots. That prep happens before a single board goes down, and it is quoted up front rather than sprung on you later.
Waterproof luxury vinyl plank, tile, or carpet tile. Plenty of O'Fallon homes have full or walkout basements, and sump pumps fail, water heaters let go, and heavy spring rain finds a way in. Those three materials can get wet and come back. Solid hardwood below grade is the one thing we will steer you away from, regardless of what a supplier tells you.
A main-level luxury vinyl plank or laminate install in a standard two-story runs one to three days. Carpet through the bedrooms and stairs is often a single day. Tile takes two to four days once you count setting, curing and grouting. Site-finished hardwood or a refinish runs four to six days, mostly waiting on stain and coats to dry.
Yes. We work with Hearth and Synchrony, so you can spread the cost of a whole-floor project over monthly payments instead of paying it all at once. Applying is quick and it does not change your pricing. Ask Erik at the measure and he will walk through the options alongside the written quote so you can compare the two honestly.
